Everything changed when humans mastered agriculture and livestock farming. The first Neolithic people. We began to prosper more rapidly, populations increased, and we became sedentary. We depended on the weather for our crops, and religion became important.
We thought we were powerful, but we were (and still are) very fragile. Living beings, ephemeral, insignificant. Just monkeys who'd gotten ahead.
