The work begins with a drawing of pomegranates that have fallen from the pomegranate tree at home. From there, a gestural and intuitive painting style develops, generating marks and patches of color that gradually solidify. Plants, symbols, numbers, hands... appear.
The unknown, that which slips through our fingers... Nature, antiquity, the earthly and the spiritual.
The need to tell stories, to leave a mark, to understand the world, which is always both modern and ancient.
