Measurements: height 120 cm, width 150 cm, thickness 3.5 cm.
Technique: mixed media: acrylic, spray paint, alcohol inks, charcoal, waxes.
Support: canvas on frame
"The good table" is a commission for the Alicante restaurant Tira-li.
The artwork is an abstraction with figurative elements, representing the virtuous circle that arises around a table. Wine and good food spark good conversations, ideas, and experiences. Everything flows better around a good table; it even seems we connect better with the rest of the universe.
All these sensations are present in this work, created with the hope of bringing positive energy to this extraordinary gastronomic space.
During its creation, the music that played continuously was "La leyenda del tiempo" by Camarón; this song decisively influenced the mood of the work, even incorporating the first two verses of the song into the work.
Acrylics, spray paint, markers, charcoal, and crayons. Quick brushstrokes, smudges, marks, dripping...
I use brushes, spatulas, spray bottles, bottles, a watermark sprayer, a hairdryer...
