Shapes that appear unexpectedly, stains to which we don't associate forms but which suggest things. Stains, color, shapes, and lines construct scenes out of place, occupying the space they have earned within the strange organization that is built during the creative process. Somehow, everything was already on the canvas; it had to be extracted, combined, and arranged.
