A painting created through free improvisation, based on images from macro-schematic paintings found in Pla de Petracos (Castell de Castells, Alicante). Action painting accompanied by early music by Jordi Savall.
The painting stems from the observation of the macro-schematic paintings of Alicante. The famous figures of worshippers pray to the gods for bountiful harvests. Over these figures, a network of handprints is created, probably the oldest and most intuitive mark that humankind has ever made. Finally, numbers, letters, and codes bring these primitive figures into the present day.
