A painting created through free improvisation. Action painting with music by Loren Connors
This work was created over several months, in different intervals. It involves multiple layers that overlap until finally the last layer is dominated by a vermilion red pigment, which covers most of the surface, revealing details and fragments of the previous layers like peeling scraps on a wall. On the surface of the work, different textures and reliefs can be observed, appearing as scars from the creative process.
