Kind of Blue is one of the most influential albums in the history of music.
In 1959 Miles Davis and a group of sensational jazz musicians came together for 2 recording sessions (10 hours in total) to produce this masterpiece.
This work was created by listening to the five tracks of the album on a loop. Multiple layers of color are developed, which are ultimately simplified into two large areas, dominated by Prussian blue at the bottom and earth tones and ochres at the top.
The work represents the effervescence of Davis's music, where scales and sounds emerge from the blue and float in the atmosphere. The titles of the five tracks appear integrated into the ochre portion of the work like jewels rising from the blue and lingering in our subconscious.
Sides painted black.
