Painting created through free improvisation. Action painting with music by Ben Harper.
We treat animals as a resource (as a symbol of this, the work includes fragments of labels for the transport of live animals).
The evolution of the human species has led us to a situation where we are capable of exploiting other living beings. The balances in nature are very fragile, and we easily disrupt them.
We are powerful, increasingly intelligent, technology allows us to do incredible things, and this is only the beginning. However, we still depend on water, the Earth, and the life around us.
Nature puts us in our place every so often and shows us our insignificance.
Landscape, Nature, beings of this world and others... all filtered through a dream and built on a wall marked by graffiti, dirt and the passage of time, in a big city.
Gestural, intuitive painting that lets things happen and relies on what emerges. Taking advantage of the unexpected and accepting the consequences.
The unknown, that which slips through our fingers... Nature, antiquity, the earthly and the spiritual.
The need to tell stories, to leave a mark, to understand the world, which is always both modern and ancient.
Nothing matters much... Working with a lost look in my eyes...
