Work created in silence, over the noises of the studio.
The work begins with a series of very diluted washes, without any preconceived idea. Over these washes, a series of stains were applied using pure Persian yellow pigment, followed by a series of strokes with India ink. At this point, the work begins to flow naturally toward plant forms, with flowers, leaves, and plants in different formats and contexts. The composition evolves, with multiple layers seeking to achieve a certain harmony and an interesting relationship between the different elements of the painting. The flowers finally emerge from stains and strokes almost spontaneously and among themselves they group together in different fragments of the work, building a kind of cut-out mosaic, unfinished or partially erased.
